How well do we know our neighbors?

Answer: not very well.

When my wife and I moved to North Carolina we joined all the neighborhood listservs to help us find a home.

The incoming emails were strange and fantastic in equal measure. And we knew we had to share the nonsense by posting them to Instagram.
