When sensitive matters meet the networks

Alright, listen, I’m going to give it to you straight. Everything about this project was weird.

Imagine all the invites on your calendar to talk about hemorrhoids. These are like half hour chunks of time, minimum. Imagine the code you have to speak in with your own clients about an itchy rear end after asking how the weather was where they are.

And this went on for months.

And it also went into testing. To a panel of our peers. Who all wanted validation for their parking pass — because this was Manhattan after all. And then they had very long discussions about their rears as I ate sushi on the other side of a one-way mirror.

We generated a million scripts that bounced off of lawyers like the head boss of a video game. For a while there it seemed like nothing could get by them.

And speaking of final-boss-types there was also The Networks. They’re not going to let you talk about your sensitive issue on air directly — so we started speaking in code, too.

Are you picking up what we’re putting down?
